According to a survey of 1650 world cities by WHO, the air quality of Delhi, the capital city of India, was found to be the worst of all. The Director of the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) claimed that the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) was opposing the report as it caused inconvenience to the automobile industry.
